The example shows: if Team A wins, a ৳500 bet returns a total of ৳1,125 — ৳625 profit plus your ৳500 stake. If they lose, ৳500 is deducted. How do odds differ for a favourite? Team B's decimal odds of 1.50 means a ৳500 bet returns ৳750 — because the risk on a favourite is lower.
The Bet Slip — a guide to understanding single and multi bets
Clicking on any odds adds them to the bet slip automatically. A single selection becomes a single bet. Once you type in your stake, the potential return is shown immediately.
Adding three or more selections creates a multi bet. For example: three selections with decimal odds of 1.60, 1.70 and 1.90 — multiplying them together gives combined odds of 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 5.17 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳517 if all three selections win. But if even one loses, the entire ৳100 is lost — that is the risk of a multi bet.
The chance of winning a multi bet is lower because every selection must be correct. Betting is for entertainment — placing multi bets beyond your budget in pursuit of a large return is not advisable.
